College application reference
Rolling Admission
Rolling admission is an admission plan that allows applicants to submit materials during the application season. It does not mean that every college has the same timing or that an applicant should wait to apply.
Colleges set the details
Common App identifies rolling decision as one of the admission plans its members may offer. The college controls its application window, any priority dates, required materials, and when it communicates decisions.
Do not treat rolling admission as an open-ended deadline
A rolling plan may still have a final deadline, a date when a program fills, or separate deadlines for financial aid, scholarships, housing, or special programs. Confirm the current details directly with the college.
Submit a complete application
Before submitting, verify the college's writing, recommendation, transcript, testing, and fee requirements. An application can require materials beyond the student's own form.
